I used this stuff to strip the paint of my Ki-44..

Not sure if Modelstrip is available in the US, but as I picked this up from a model railway supplier, figure there must be something similar on your side of the pond.

I will be receiving the Paint Buster next week. I will try this on a clear part which I painted with acrylic smoke color. So stay tuned. Smile [:)] What sold me to this product is, you just have to brush it on and its environmetally friendly. You dont need a huge amount, no more dipping. ( if this is true, I will inform you guys ).

Your questin is rather vague, since you don't say what kind of paint, how long it's been on the model, and where it is, on parts, or a completed build..

If it's already cured, a product called "Simple Green" works quite well on enamel if the model's soaked in it overnight... As for acrylics, ammonia works, as does alcohol on some.. For laquers, I'd recommened sanding it off only, as any solvent strong enough to remove laquer will also remove your model...
