                        New Badger 100 LG--Switching from Single Action, and Tips, Drills?

                        I have decided to retire my 25+ year old Badger 200, a single action, siphon feed AB that has served me well for it's life.

                        I got a 100LG, I wanted to switch to gravity feed for the lesser air flow needed, fewer parts to clean, and naturally wanted to go DA instead of SA.

                        How "different" is a DA brush?  Mechanically, I understand depress for air, slide for paint volume.  Is that about it?

                        It shouldn't take you long to transition Bill.

                        Just push the trigger down and pull back slightly until paint starts coming out and go from there. 

                        It takes a little getting used to at first especially with the color cup now being on top but with a few hours practice you should be doing just fine.

                        And remember that leaning too far over will cause paint to pour out, when it didn't before. I recall vividly (because the colour I was painting was red and quite vivid) my first attempt when I got my 100LG! Banged Head [banghead]
