A look at that paint cross reference showed that it is sort of incomplete when it comes to the US Navy's paint applied to ships during WWII. These paints had neither Fed_Std (didn't exist back then) nor ANA references.
The best means for determining the colors you wish to paint a specific ship might be to go the shipcamouflage.com camouflage measure database.

They may actually have links to measure pattern diagrams too.
From there go elsewhere on the shipcamouflage site to determine the colors associated with the measure. Once you have those color designations (5-H, 5-O, 5-N, etc) you can go directly to the White Ensign Colourcoat page and pick out your paint. If you are fortunate to have a local source of WEM paints, you can still use the WEM website to locate the catalog item numbers to assist your shopping.
Failing all that, contact John Snyder at WEM directly via email. John is more than willing to assist modelers in the selection of proper paints for their subject
