Dryer outlet for spraybooth question
Posted by JButler on Monday, October 12, 2009 8:17 PM

I have a new Pasche sprayboth and a dryer hose kit to vent the fan.  I want to vent the dryer hose through a window.  My question is:  What kind of connection can I get to attach the hos to in the window.  I went to the Home Depot and they only have vents that mount in a wall.  I swear that I have seen some kind of vent that would mount in a window.  Any help is appreciated.

I used to hook up my spraybooth through a dryer vent that went out the dining room window. I used a sheet of 1/2" MDF, cut the hole for a regular dryer vent and sized the panel to fit in the open window. A few strips of weatherstripping (not seen in the photo) and voila!

The smaller board was used to friction fit the panel into the window so it wouldn't fall out. Boy, was my wife ever glad when I got my man cave set up and moved the booth downstairs!

So long folks!

You can find the window mount by Gunze Sanyo for there Mr spray booth at Sprue Bros. It attaches to your dryer hose and then flattens out to go under a window .
