Acrylics, alcohol, and a funny story.

I bought my son an airbrsh at the Austin Armor show.  The Badger 200 came with a set of Badger acrylic paints.  We took it home and fired it up to show him how to operate and clean.  It shot alcohol just fine.  I put in some of the Badger paint thinned it with a little alcohol like I usually do and it sprayed for a while then just stopped.  Tried more thinner and nothing.  Took it apart and the paint had reacted with the thinner gumming it up. 

Lesson learned.  Some acrylics don't work with alcohol.  Looked like a goof ball to my boy!  Guess i need to research what paints go with what thinner.
