storing decanted paint

Should you decant the entire can or just an amount you intend to used right away? Once decanted and gased-out, are there any storage issues? Tks in advance. mike

I only decant approximately what I plan to use.  I will decant into a bottle I can close if I decant too much.  I haven't had any storage problems on the little paint I have left after using the decanted paint.

The original contain is always best for storage. If you do decant it all make sure there is minimal excess space...a full container is a happy container.
