Saw wing_nuts post on the homebuilt spraybooth and decided to give it a try. Been looking for one for a while and kept putting it off due to the high prices. Got a cabinet from a neighbor that was to go out in the trash. It had no back, one shelf and a one piece door. That thing weighed a ton. It was 28 x 22 x 14. I took the shelf out and removed the door. That lightened it up quite a bit. Added some braces to the back and put a piece of plywood panneling inside. Caulked it all up including the holes for the shelf mounts. Dug into my electric scrap cabinet and got a switch and box and mounted them to the side of the cabinet.
Ordered the same blower and adapters that wing_nut used in his. Going to the hardware store tomorrow for all the odds and ends that I need to finish the booth. Haven't decided where to put the lights yet.
Wing_nut I hope you don't mind my using your post as a guide. That's a great looking booth and I know it will work as great as it looks.
Going to try to post some pics. Hope it works.
