Aztex AB Problem

It may not be a problem with the body.  I had the same issue with mine and it was rthe needle, whaat hapopened was after cleaning the three pieces of the nozzle; when i inserted the needle back into the piece that holds it it was not sated properly.  whe i went to use the AB and screwed the head it it pushed the needle all the way forward and got stuck.  I had to remove the nozzle and disassemble and re-assemble and all was OK after that.

My version doesn't have the wheel at the rear, I rang a hobby store that stocks them and they are going to replace it for me, so it's a 200km drive to there and back to drop off the old one and get the new one.

Ditto on the above post, definitely sounds like a problem inside the body. To be honest, I've been having a similar issue recently with mine. I actually get LESS paint flow now when I pull back on it. I don't know, I'm debating just retiring it.

 A  couple of months ago my 430 quit flowing paint when I engaged the trigger, I e-mailed Testors with the problem and they told me to send it in and they would replace it with a brand new one with a trigger upgrade as the Aztecs have a lifetime gaurantee. Not only did I send it in for a new airbrush I included $10.00 and recieved a brand new A470. So Bill you might want to consider that option.

I had a heck of a time with my Aztek A480 airbrush, but never the problem you are having.  Until someone else has a better idea for you, you might want to peruse this website which will give you an internal breakdown of the airbrush, as well as some items that may be causing your problem.
