Alrighty then...  that all makes perfect sense.  My concern is (was) much ado about nothing.  Thanks...

And if you're using Tamiya acrylic, it contains Isopropyl Alcohol, which will work as an anti-freeze.

So long folks!

Paints are emulsions and emulsions are not subject to damage by freezing. They can be resuspended by remixing.

Remember that these products are also shipped to those vendors via unheated containers, trailers and trucks. They are subjected to extremes in temperatures whether it be below zero cold or tar boiling heat, so your concern about them being exposed from the retailer to your door is not necessary.

Hey guys,

I have been considering putting together an order from one of the online hobbyshops (Luckymodel, if you are curious) and figured I'd restock some of my paint supply in addition to picking up a few other things.  However, I am a little hesitant because of the weather.   It is pretty chilly up here in Connecticut (we'll be below freezing for the next few days).  Not arctic, but definately chilly.  Should I be concerned that the acrylic paints I use will either freeze or be somehow altered by the cold?  Particularly since it is likely the package will get delivered while I am at work and sit on my front steps for several hours.
