Thanks for the Testors link. Just saved it to my Favs.

Bob, I had the same problem when I started looking at the Colors for my Revell 1/72 F-35. I had no idea what Anthracite was! Now I do! There are way to many color variants out there!

OK I figured this sh!t out.  I got the conversion after the light bulb went off in my empty head.  Thanks all for the help.

Bob, very interested in what you find as the Tamiya equivalents.

I have the Testors color match that Revell published. But I have not seen an easy to use chart for Revell to Tamiya yet.

p.s. Are you looking for "anthracite" instead of "anthricite"?

Bob,

Those sound like Revell (Europe) paint colour names.

What are you planning to paint and where are those colours to be used? - I'm sure that if we know what and where, someone can provide you with the correct colours.Smile

You're probably going to have a really hard time with these colors siince they sound like a manufacturer's color name (as used for a car). Do you have an FS number for either of these colors? If not, your best bet is to get a color sample and mix colors by trial and error until you get an approximate match.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
