I have been looking for a blower for a spray booth I am making and was wondering what a good one was for under $75.

Don't know how much they've gone up but I got a Dayton rated at 265cfm for just under $70 about 6 years ago. I believe it came from Grainger and don't recall the model number but can get back to you with that if you need it. My booth is 18"W x 18"T x 16" deep and that blower works well. I only have a short run of hose to a window, maybe a foot. If the booth was any bigger I'd use a larger blower. This size has been ok for cars but I'd like to build a bigger one.

A10wrthg - I used the exact same blower on my homebuilt booth. Its 30 wide x 24 high x 15 deep. Another guy on the forum built one the same size and I used all the same parts as he did. It works great. Very quiet. It's a Dayton 265 CFM Squirrel Cage 4C447 Shaded Pole Blower Fan, Item # FA265. It does come without a power cord but I'm sure you can hook it up to a switch without any problem. I ordered mine from Keenzo.com. In november it cost $81.97. You can also get the 4" Duct Adapter for that blower there. It's part #FA139 and costs $10.00 each. You'll need 3 of them. 1 to attach the blower to the booth, 1 to attach the ductwork to the blower output, and 1 to put on the end of the duct to go outside. They shipped everything out in 2 days and I got it about 3 days later. I put the whole thing together in 3 nights and it is working great. Check for my booth and also Wingnuts a little ways back in this forum. If you need any help, feel free to let me know. Good Luck.
