If your using MM enamels or any enamel you don't have to prime it.

If your using Tamiya acrylics you do have to prime it. You can't brush Tamiya on raw styrene without it rolling up on you, and or taking ten coats to get the color correct.

Make sure to wash the sprues in warm water with a little dish soap then rinse clean and air dry thoroughly.

Hey to all the people that primarily use a paint brush.

With a brand new kit, do you put down a "primer" layer of paint?

If so, do you brush it on or spray it?

Thx,
