I've used the Paasche H for decades & always position the hole toward the top.  But that's just out of habit.  A few years ago I experimented by placing the hole to the side & in the down position & didn't detect any change in performance.

I never noticed which position I put the hole in the needle and haven't ever had any problems.  I think it was designed to be fool proof.

I concur.

I just switched from a Badger 350 to the Paasche and I really really like the Paasche H.  I've found that I've got a lot more control with it than I had with the Badger.

I have used a Paasche for some 40 years and have always put the hole in the needle facing up. Ihave never had a problem with this approach so I assume it is the right way.

Hope that helps.

Dinglebert question here. I have a Paasche H single action airbrush, and need to put on the H-5 color adj. part to spray enamel. The needle, HN-5, has a hole on it (towards the pointy endBig Smile). Should the paint hole be positioned up,down, or on its side? The parts diagram shows on the side. Thanks,

Ron W.
