And I'm more cowardly and let 48 hrs elapse before masking with tape! I'm probably doing the overkill method, but I figure better safe than sorry.

Hi Andrew,

Tamiya paints "touch dry" very quickly, particularly when airbrushed. However, though "dry", it does require more time to cure. Typically, I prefer to leave Tamiya paint to cure at least overnight (min 12 hours, preferably more) before masking.

What would you use as your minimum time between airbrushing (tamiya paint) and applying tamiya masking over top?
