Like Rick says, there are a million variables and alot of airbrushes and paints. All airbrushes are different and all paints are different. There is no SET mixing procedure or thinning procedure or psi setting. Allot is trial and error and what works for you.

There are a lot of variables to consider.  A double action, gravity feed AB will require different settings than a single action, siphon feed.  Spraying for broad coverage will require different settings than spraying fine lines or mottle camo.  For my Paasche H, I normally thin MM enamels about 2 paint to 1 thinner & spray at about 20psi for broad coverage.  With my Badger 100LG, I thin the paint about the same but spray at about 15psi for broad coverage.  For more detaiedl work, I thin the paint more & spray at a lower psi, depending on the task at hand.

Keep in mind that this is just my personal technique.  You're likely to get as many different answers as there are people in this forum; but having said that here's my 2 cents ...

I use the Paasche single action brush with my small (12cc) cup.  For something like the base coat on a model, I fill the cup to about a half inch from the top.  I then use a dropper to put in enough thinner to cover the top of the paint.  I stir it with a toothpick the blend it all together.  I may be using a lot more paint than necessary; but it works for me!  Cool

As far as the pressure, I go with around 25 PSI.  You'll have to experiment and what gives you the results you're happy with.  I pretty much do the same with my Tamiya acryllics, which I recommend as much as the Model Master enamels.  If you can find an acryllic in the color you want I'd say go with that over an identical MM color!  That's an extra 2 cents for ya free of charge!!

Best of luck to ya!
