The Zinc Chomate yellow in the little square Testors bottle is what I have been using. I always wondered why they wouldn't offer it in the MM line.

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?
Thanks for the info. I ordered both the Testors zinc chromate and the Tamiya yellow green. We'll see which one works out the best.
Model Master offer Chromate green and yellow in their Acryl line. I don't know about the enamel line but it seems to be larger than the acryl line so I would assume it is also available as an enamel.
Here a link to the Testor sit that have info about that color.

Thanks for the info... I've been using Model Masters by Testors and all they offer is chromate green. Someone on another forum turned me on to a review of a SBD dauntless and the author of that review suggested Tamyia yellow green as an acceptable substitute. I will definitly look for the Testor's it will save a lot of hassel. Thanks
Are you refering to yellow chromate color of some interrior area of the aircraft? If you are Testors makes a Zinc Chromate in a 1/4 oz bottle I get at Micheals. I have not used it yet but it does look (at least to me) correct yellowish color zinc, not the green zinc color.
Is there a simple way to replicate (read fake) usaaf ww II chromate yellow? The only company I can find that makles it is White Ensign and I don't want to go through the hassle of order one tin of paint from the UK.
Thanks for any help in advance.
