Masking 1/72 Airfix VH-3 Bubble windows

I like this idea.  I may try it on one window and see what happens.  I am still stuffing tissue in the cockpit and otpen doer.  I will be priming end of this week.

I tried using Tamily masking tape.  BLue painters seems to keep the form better.

My first thought was to take a narrow strip of tape (about 1mm) to mask the edge of the round window, and then take something liquid (Maskol, Revell Color Stop or something like that ) to mask the center. But then it occured to me, that a tall "chimney" made of wide masking tape (~20mm) would also do the trick. For extra safety you could stuff some tissue down the open top. What tape are you using? Tamiya masking tape or Frog yellow painter tape is what I use for masking canopies.
