First: Free hand camo painting. It's especially satisfying in 1:72nd, being smaller and a bit more difficult. TOTS, right Bish? For this I use either my Paasche VJR, or Badger 100G, both with the smallest head components.
Second: Masking canopies, when it comes out well it's so worth the time and effort. For this I have used a couple of Montex and Eduard sets which gave very good results, but mostly I stay with Tamiya tape and Frisket. With the Tamiya I just never have a bleed through.
Third: The paint itself, I still use some enamel, but mostly Tamiya acrylic. When paint is fresh and properly thinned/mixed, just watching it flow onto the surface and settle into a smooth layer is really rewarding for me.
