Hi,

I just wanted to check if it was okay to put enamel paint into an empty tamiya jar which now only has dry paint on the sides of the jar

Thanks for the help

Might as well do it right the first time.

I'd clean it up first. Let it sit a while with some laquer thinner in it and then clean it up with some 91% ISP then, rinse and dry.

Yes as long as you clean it well.  I use a suction feed airbrush, so I do that all the time.  If regular paint thinner does not clean it well enough, lacquer thinner will.
