Speaking of Rub n Buff, there was an article or discusion a while back about someone using it as a finish on a NMF build. Have no idea if decals will adhere to it.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Tojo72 plasticjunkie For the wear points on steel wheels I use Rub n Buff. Ak real metal paints are quite good too. What Rub n Buff colors do you recommend for steel wheels maybe pewter ?

Its Silver Leaf
I will check when I get home. I think it's called leaf or bright silver.
Don't bother with these.
Use either AK's Xtreme metal or Vallejo Metal Color, or as I do, both.
They are airbrush ready and easy to use and lay down producing a lifelike result. I usually put a coat of AK's Intermediate Gauzy Agent which is a clear coat protectant as neither metal paint lines like handling or masking despite claims.
Give both paints 24 hours curing time (same for the Gauzy agent) although you can work with them quite quickly after application. but a wise man doesn't rush these things.
Steel rims done with Xtreme Metal Steel and Gauzy agent.
I went to AKinteractive.com and got this quote from the site:
Hello,
Can you airbrush AK Interactive True Metal paints (in the tube) if so what do you thin it with?
Thanks
