                        So I am having an interesting problem using Tamiyas paint retarder for brushpainting. Using Tamiya XF paints, I am getting a semi-gloss/gloss sheen when the paint dries. I am only adding 1 drop of retarder for every 3-4 drops of paint. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this?

                        Yes, that will happen. Try using a lower ratio.
