I'd say no. The thing is that even enamels and acrylics have different consistencies and pigment quality depending upon the manufacturer. And the result will also vary depending on the way its painted on. If airbrushed, for example, the results will vary depending on the air pessure used or the consistency of the paint or the distance between the nozzle and the model. It may even become harder to determine if a clear coat was applied.

Enamels do appear to have deeper colors, though, presumably from the amber-colored supernatant liquid used by some manufacturers. Lacquers, on the otherhand, are usually applied in thinner coats due to the durable finish.

Okay, is it possible to tell what kind of paint was used by just looking at the finish? Let's say I have 3 unfinished models, I each of them with the same exact color, same exact gloss, except one was sprayed with acryilcs, one is sprayed with enamel and the other one sprayed with lacquer. Will they all look exactly the same?
