The 180 is the Cyclone model and for the price you can get a better unit in my opinion. The Badger Cyclone is $179 through Dixie Art and for the same price you can buy this compressor which is a much better deal:

That is good advice IF he can stand the sound. If you need a quiet compressor then get something like the Intruder TC2000, or Silentaire Scorpion from Dixie Art.

I don't remember since it's been about 11 years since I had one.

These are the cheapest of compressors made and I would recommend buying something that will last and not fail you in the middle of a project.

I used to have one myself a long time ago. They get hot easy, only put out about 25 psi, and pulsate the air badly because they are a diaphram compressor. They will work pretty good if you put a small air tank on them to even out the airflow, but you need to shut them off ASAP because as I said they get hot, and heat is what kills compressors.
