Prime Everything First?

The only 'problem' I could see with this approach is if you do any puttying or filling of seams and cracks you will have to prime again anyways, plus all the primer removing you would have to do on any mating surfaces for the glue to adhere properly. Depending on your building procedure this may or may not be an inconvenience.

I've thought about this too, and I think I came to the same conclusion that Ray did. Paint on the mating surfaces was the big one for me. I tend to build small assemblies first, and then prime/fill/paint them after.

Too each his/her own, I guess...
