multihead assembly?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 9:40 PM
i have a paasche vl, and was looking online for replacement needles, and came across this. they come in fine, medium and heavy. the airbrush set didn't come with these, what do they do?

also, is there a major difference between regular needles and polished needles other than appearance?

thank you in advance

For model painting you will want the #1 tip and needle.
Some people use the #3 but it is really made for slightly thicker paints than ones such as Model Master enamels and such.
The polished needles are for a little more precision but I think they would be a waste for this hobby. Stick with the cheap, standard #1 needles and you'll be fine. Big Smile [:D]Wink [;)]

Multihead assembly just means that the head accepts the #1, #3 and #5 tips and needles I believe.
