For painting fine details on your models you just can't beat gel pens. They are much easier to handle than brushes, and you will be amazed at the effect it will give your models in having a more "finished" or "completed" look. Remember to treat them like any other paint in terms of giving the gel ink ample time to dry. I have found gel pens to be an indispensable tool in my paint box.
