Revell airbrush problem??
Posted by lolok on Friday, September 26, 2003 9:00 AM
I have a Revell PROFI airbrush along with my 2 Badgers but I just cannot find any spares for the revell. I am now living and working in Poland and nobody does spares. I have sent 3 E.mails to Revell Germany and have heard diddly back. Can you still get spares for the old profi and where from. I need a medium nozzle and head. I would also like to get a full set up of fine needle/nozzle/head etc for it. Does anybody have one lying around they don't use anymore to sell? My Badgers are fine but the Revell is handy and works fine for general work when it is ok. It seems a shame to junk it just for the sake of a nozzle and head.

I occasionally get into situations of trying to find some obscure part for some even more obscure product. Finally I concluded that some parts are pure unobtainium and learned to accept that. I share your thoughts on airbrushes, however. I have a really nice Badger 150 double action, but it doesn't get used nearly as much as my Binks Wren single-action with both regular and fine tips . It cleans up in less than half the time of the Badger and has bullet-proof construction quality. Iv'e had it for at least 20 years and it has always delivered. I'm sure they are available on the company's web site.
And what? A fellow member of the Ryan Clan in Poland? Does the Polish government know?
Happy modelling!

I am not complaining. Poland is a great place to live and work. (well maybe winter is a bit of a pain)MINUS 20c!!!!! I tried all those retailers and they only do complete sets. Guarantee ran out long time ago. I complain about REVELL Customer Service or lack of......Don't forget about all the amazing photoetched sets coming out of Poland and neighbours. I visit PELTA at least once a week,it has great bookshop downstairs, lots of military and modelling books from Worldwide.
