compressor tutorials needed
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 4:47 PM

tell me if i a wrong but the way i understand it is that the regulator controls the pressure delivered ie "lots" of pressure needed to cover large surafaces and create simple camos etc "low" pressure to make ultra thin lines, snakes, polka dots etc right?

i mean in a double action airbrush movement of the triger forward backward controls the paint volume right, (fine setting at close range makes thin lines...?) but in what force the paint is delivered depends on the regulator setting.....( i was so stupid? that had the impression that 2Action had a press release system where deep press produced more pressure light pressing low pressure i am wrong isnt it?)

so with a non regulating compressor i get same results as in a proppelant can so there is no benefit apart economy in the long run but in order to fully utilise the airbrush potential i need compressor with regulator......

last if the compressor has tank can i fill it up and work off fhe mains? i work outdoors exiled and doomed to wasteland with no mains access.......

thanks ina dvance
