Question about spraying gloss/dullcoat
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, November 2, 2003 6:43 PM
How do you get an even amount of gloss/dullcoat over the entirety of a model?

I'd imagine it would be a lot easier to do with an airbrush, but for now, I don't have anything but spraycans.

Also, should I hang the model up somehow, and if so, how do I keep it from moving around when I'm spraying?

Thanks!

I have a simple setup on my bench to address that issue, as far as setups go. I have an old Lazy Susan with a homemade wire frame I use to hold models while I paint them. just turn the disk and lay on another coat from a different angle. Works for me. Cost me nothing. Someone gave me the Lazy Susan, and I made the frame out of an old coat hanger.
