PrintScale Problem

Below I will give some advice , I hope they will help you. Decals our production Immersed very small thickness , they are thin . And it is very flexible . Frankly, I think it's a big advantage. But it is precisely this quality requires Bole accurate translation process.

1. Do not place in water carved elements on blue paper for a long time for our decals enough 5 - 10 seconds maximum . Then put them on a clean surface ( I use an edge of the water tank or saucer) . After a min...ute - half a colorful picture can be easily shifted from the backing paper .

2 . Do not take the decal with tweezers . In place of the transfer with a small brush , apply a liquid MicroSet. Bring soaked paper element to the place on the transfer model and easy sliding motion move it into place. It should , how-to leave the paper.

3 . Remove the remaining water and a special liquid with a cotton swab . Secure decal , causing her brush MiсroSol not a large number .

4 . I do not recommend immerse cut several items at once. You may not be able to move them and colorful elements will separate from the backing paper .  

 I hope that with patience and some skill you get all fine . Results of your work will please you .

Nobody with pointer with working on this brand of decal?  I know it's an older sheet so maybe things are different than what Printscale recently posted on Facebook.

I bought one or two sheets from them, but didn't get to use any yet. What you show on the photo ist most unusual - even the thickest decals I have used to date didn't do that. What I would like to know is how do you use future here - generally once you mix wet decals with wet future it's a one-way ticket... I mean it either works or it doesn't and then it gets hard to fix once it dries. Did you overcoat the decals on the sheet with something? When were those printed?

The crosses are easy to replace, so you still have a chance to do something once you work the chemistry out. I'm using the advice that I read somewhere - first I try to make the decal lay on the raised letters on a Tamiya paint lid, and try different decal solvents in process. Once I find the one that works (usually MicroSol or Solvaset), I start to put the decals on the model.

I say they are older only because they are sheet 72-014 and on their web site there is up to 72-143 shown.  I don't see any date on the decal sheet or the guide.

The technichs I usually use with Future are,

1. Apply the decal as you normally would but blot the water off and place a small amount with a brush on the model where the decal is going.  Then I would blot up any excess. 
2. in this case I got the decal wet and when the film moved freely on the backing I blotted up the water.  I then proceed to dip the decal in future holding it on edge to a cloth to catch the excess.  Then I slid the decal onto the model in place and let it be. 

The decal always would lay down on the model either way but not with this sheet of decals and I have never used the brand before.  I tried water, MicroSet, MicroSol and Future with no success. 

Try Solvaset

Been trying to find some locally but looks like I'll have to place an order somewhere.

Seems to be a problem with the multi-colored decals and not so much a single colored decal.

It constantly amazes me how companies export to foreign customers with such poor instructions without having a native speaker of that country review and edit instructions.  Now PrintScale may be a small garage shop operation, but some of the big kit mfgs don't do any better.  I know editors are not highly paid, and don't believe it would be such a big expense for a big company.

The directions were fine and they do have them on their Facebook page.  The multi colored Stuka decals just didn't want to conform to the fuselage and I had to use the kit decal crosses.  None the decals on the sheet would sink into the panel lines no matter what I did.  This is an earlier set and I'm not sure how the later decals do by them.
