Dear Microscale Industries (Micro Sol/Micro Set)

Please consider redesigning your product bottles for both Micro Sol and Micro Set.  A change to a shorter squatier bottle that is less prone to tip over (with brush in cap!!!) would be wonderful.   Thanks

Found this on a Google search, and their are a dozen others like it.There are also many DYI solutions that modelers have devised.

I got this 3d printed stand for $10 or so of Etsy.  I've spilled way to much product!  Works great - zero accidents since I bought it.

Thanks,

John

Tojo's right about DIY solutions; I think we have one or two threads here about this very topic, how not to tip over bottles.

I use the caps from used-up rattle cans for some paint bottles, like the old Tester square glass bottles.  The inner ring that protects the nozzle fits those bottles perfectly.

For bottles and jars with a larger footprint, I use the caps from laundry detergent jugs.

Hi!

You know how I fixed the spillage problem? Truck tires! Yup! take 1/25 and 1/24 semi-truck tires and rims. Insert the rims and let dry. Now, cut out the wheel center. Bam! You have a non-tip bottle holder!

Sometimes I will buy a bag of parts at an I.P.M.S. show for that very reason. That way my stash doesn't lose good parts! This goes for any type of model from Planes all the way to Cars and Everything in between.       T.B.
