decals breaking apart

There are several brands of a decal coating that you paint over old decals and it holds them together. I use Micro Scale brand.  After coating (and letting it dry) you now need to cut the decals out from the sheet with much more care than with the kit decals- the film makes the whole sheet on decal unless you carefully apply it just where the old decal film was (hard to do).
