Sure glad I can make inkjet decals
Posted by Don Stauffer on Sunday, June 23, 2013 11:33 AM

Doing the decaling on a Hobby Boss Jayhawk Coast Guard helicopter, and messed up some of the kit decals.  Put on a couple of the rotor tip warning decals backwards, and didn't notice till the decals were on too long to save.  Then, let one of the "US Coast Guard" logos stay in water too long, and it came off the paper then folded back on itself.  Couldn't straighten it back out- ruined it.

But, was able to make copies of remaining decals and successfully made new ones.  Now I don't have to find out how to order new ones from Hobby Boss :-)

Congrats on that !

I'll try making some decals some time later this summer.

Aftermarket decals for the 1/24 AIRFIX  Bf-109 E and  Ju-87B simply do not exist at this time.

If the HP 564 inks don't work ( only black is supposed to be pigmented ) I may buy an HP Deskjet 2512 as well.
