Hello!

There are companies on the net that do decal printing, ant they usually do nice silver and gold. Here's a pic of a truck cab that has decals I designed and later they were custom-printed for me by the German company Decalprint:

Good luck with your builds and have a nice day

Another possibility would be to paint the gold. Then print, on clear decal film, the red logos and two colors of the belt line and place the decals over or adjacent to the paint

Gold is pretty hard, but you can approximate it.  Find a good color photo that has some nice gold areas, import it into your graphics program, and grab the color of the nicest gold area in the picture.  You should probably do some test printings on regular paper to do fine tuning on color.

Printing my own..... new territory

I've just recently joined the forums, but been an avid modeler pretty much since my parents would let me wield an exacto knife!  Built many many models as a kid, all different subjects, but airliners are still my favorite.  been buying up a few old Aurora kits here and there, and want to scan and print extra decals.  2 issues.... one, I've never done it.  Don't even know where to begin. Two, one of the decals is for the Aurora 1/156 Continental 747-100.  Can a printer accurately recreate the gold paint of the Continental livery?  if not, how can it be copied?
