tamiya mark fit ?

What is tamiya mark fit? Is it a decal setting solution?  Or a decal solvent?  Micro Sol is a decal solvent.  I recommend trying a setting solution before attempting use of solvent.  Most setting solutions are fairly benign, whereas solvents can cause problems unless you are very careful.

Tamiya Mark Fit is a decal application solution. Compared to the standard Mark Fit, this "strong" version has a more powerful formula for softening decals. It will help decals adhere and conform to difficult curved surfaces or matte-painted surfaces. In addition, it also helps speed up the decal application process.

is it as good as micro sol gerhard ?

We dont get Micro Sol here, so I cant really say. What I do like about it is that you can apply your decals to a matt surface without silvering.
