Yes, more Future should clean up any white fogging on the model surface.

Well I don't share the optimism of my friend, but it can't hurt to try.

I've had that happen too, one of the reasons why I try not to use Micro Sol, Set etc. unless really necessary.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

It worked for me here. Although the culprit was Solvaset, not Microset.

That happens when the Future is not fully cured. I let it sit for at least 2 days before using any decal solution. Applying more Future works most of the times at getting rid of the reaction. It happened to me once and it didn’t work so I had to lightly sand and repaint the area.

I usually let Future cure a day or longer. This was 7 years ago or so, so I don’t remember. And it was Solvaset, which is far “hotter” than Microset. You can let Future cure for a week or more and still get this with Solvaset.

Stik

I strictly use Solvaset and have never had a problem if the Future cures for at least 2 days.

My issue was that I used Solvaset like 10 hours after applying the Future. It looked like a white haze around the decal.
