I used Micro set on an Alclad 2 gloss cote. This was not the result I was expecting. Is it fixable?
Looks like you used too much micro set but perhaps you could try another gloss coat on top of that and see if it covers it up. I am not sure if it will work but it doesn't look like it could make it any worse. I hope you can get it resolved.
Same question as other thread. How long did you let the Alclad dry?
And is it the acrylic or lacquer Alclad clear?

That is my suspicion. The gloss needs to be very goood. Any roughness at all and you get silvering. No amount of setting or solvent solution will fix that. You have to remove decal with very fine sandpaper, a couple thousand grit and try again.
I always scan my decal sets these days, so if I mess up a decal I may be able to print a replacement.
