I don't have the Tamiya kit; would it be possible to get a picture of decal set?

Echelon and Star make decals for a Challenger 1 and 2 that may have what you are looking for.

IMHO, I don’t think Tamiya would be much help with customizing decals, but I could be wrong. Contacting them would not hurt.

This may be a good time to investigate making your own decals. Just a thought.

I doubt Tamiya can help you, but...

Post this over in "Armor". You will get lot's of ideas. This particular forum is where decal application or printing issues are discussed, only say that because it only has a small proportion of armor modelers I am sure.
