Looking for a font source
Posted by MJY65 on Monday, May 31, 2021 6:09 AM

If I understand correctly, the USAF uses a font called USAF Amarillo.  That's not a standard font on Word, Pages, etc.  I know there are various sites that claim to offer free font downloads, but I'm a bit concerned about malware, etc.

Is there a secure, reliable source for functional Word/Pages compatible font downloads?  I don't mind paying for something that works.

I did a google search on amarillo usaf and found it right away.  I downloaded it, and the next time I used my graphics that font appeared in the font options when I went to the text tool.

As Don says, just google the font you need. There are quite a few site where you can downlad them and there are no fee's.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I download all kinds of fonts (they come as zip files). Never had an issue with malware. Once opened, they should automatically show up in your font list.
