Yes, I got a set of ten, in five sizes, for $ 12. They work so much better than the old ones I have.

There was another set made in China for a few $$ less, but I went for the Korean ones.

You can find them on ebay from China. It takes 2-3 weeks but you cant beat the price.

Sorry. I have my Amazon home page bookmarked, but not the page I found that set on. I searched miniature drill set #60-80, and I think the set was on the third page of finds.

Yeah, that's the same as mine, except my box has the drill sizes marked on it.

I find that the new set is not exactly the same as the ones I had been using.  Everything is the same, except, on the new set, the smallest drills are on the left, size increasing to the right.  Old sets had smallest on right, size increasing to left.

Also, the clear sliding cover now fits into detents in the blue base. I suppose it could still be same supplier who updated the package, or it could be new supplier that just copied the package.  Neither old nor new sets have any marking on them, though the new one came in a blister package with trademark with letters SE on it.  But since I do not have packages any more from my old sets that doesn't mean anything to me.  The drills do work, that is all that matters, really.

My old set was from Micromark. It too has the smallest on the left. The clear plastic cover has a hole in the top edge to dispense the selected size bit as you slide it along. Along this top edge are markings for the drill size number that line up with the hole. I made a sticker that transposes the drill number to decimal inches and stuck it to the front of the clear cover. Made it easier for my machinist's head to recognize. I ordered the look alike set from Amozon, as well as the 10 pc carbide set. Never used them before, so thought I'd give them a try.

I have a very old set made in the USA, got it back in the 1970s. I ordered a replacement one from eBay cuz some of my small drill bits were broken. It won't cut even thru paper thin plastic. My 40 year old ones cut thru plastic a million times better than the Chinese junk I got from eBay.

Yup, I have the Rogers set. The Sliding window set they show in the catalog now is different than the one I bought from them a year or so ago. Mine has small to large from left to right and is blue plastic. I like the sliding window set because it seems easier to dispense them than from the Rogers, but it is not a big deal. Heck, most of the time I neglect to put the bit back where it came from anyway and it lays on the bench. A good digital caliper is then needed to get the size and return it to it's proper place. For larger sets, the 60 piece, #1 thru 60, TiN coated set is a great set too, all high speed steel, available at any hardware store, as well as replacements. All of their bits are good. The sizes from 61 thru 80 are fragile, inherently due to their tiny size. I order refills for broken ones in six packs. EJ

Same here.  I have a couple of sizes that I use frequently, especially in rigging WW1 planes and ships.  One is #75, another is #65. I always keep those in stock by bying those refill packs.

 

Got my order yesterday.

The blue slider one is exactly the same as the set I got from Micromark a couple years ago. You can see I added the decimal inch sizes to the number size in my old set. Made it easier for me to "recognize" the sizes in my head, and, to relate to when identifying it later with a digital caliper. Note the drill sizes indicated along the top edge of the holder/dispenser.

 

I've never tried these before. I think they are used for printed circuit boards? The shank configuration must be for setting up in a drilling machine ore something. They are solid carbide, therefore will be very brittle. But I gotta say, these babys are very sharp and drill nice clean holes in wood and plastic. Havn't tried them yet on brass.

I tried a set of those several years ago.  They were indeed very brittle.  I broke several of them very quickly.  Went back to the normal type.  I break a few of those from the sliding box, but not nearly as often as those 1/8 inch shank set.
