BTW, TB.... I like all of your ideas. I have to fight to keep the sorts of things you mention. I'm a bit of hoarder and my wife is on a mission to cure me.

Hmmm.... old washcloths or hand towels that are frayed for one. Old flannel bed sheets - fitted and top sheet cut up in smaller squares. I’ve got quite a bit of them to last me a lifetime.

I use old T-shirts, but also, for cleanup of airbrush and airbrush jars, spills and stuff, a LOT of paper toweling, and sometimes Kleenex.

Paper towel only, nothing near the model.

 What type of Rags do you use ?  Personally It depends on the reason I need one...

Exactly.

For cleaning brushes, I use paper towels.  I also use them for general utility jobs around the bench, like wiping up spills ("Spills?  No one ever spills anything!").

Otherwise, if I need a rag, I use old cotton socks.  When I retire my crew socks, they go in the rag locker (after one final laundering).  For example, when I clean my sculpting tools, I use acetone, and I use a rag made from an old sock to wipe the tools clean.  I use a rag like that when cleaning my airbrush, too.

I love messing with people, I'd have liked to be there to watch the first time.

I use paper towels to wipe my brushes and for blotting decals. 

Old t shirts and cotton sheets get cut down for cleaning patches for my gun cleaning chores. A med size bag at the gun shop costs like $16! I have enough cut up to last me a looong time.

Old towels get cut down for polishing and waxing my Tundra and Crosstour and used for shop rags, etc.

 You would've choked with laughter when I took my " Drawers " to the register . The Cashier turned about five shades of red !

 Last but not least. Grandma's drawers .Yup , Older women's Panties made of cotton are awesome for final clean up and polishing on any model .They are a finer cotton that the " T " and easier to wash . Buy these new or go to the local thrift store for them .

These are also awesome for cleaning and polishing foil chrome . T.B.
