Well say not, my friends, as I'm gonna do it. I'll call it my Sprotoing Booth...or maybe my Phodraying booth...okay, so the name still needs work...
For those of you reading this (thank you) but missed the construction of my new spray booth, please have a look here:
/forums/1045657/ShowPost.aspxNow that the original challenge is done, I think the next thing I need to do is to hang a small Purple-K (A/B extinguisher) near the spray booth, and mount the plexiglass lid.
After that, I'll be adding the things necessary to make it function as a drying booth and a photobooth as well. I've spent the last few nights going through all of the forum posts in Painting and tools, gleaning ideas and I think I have a fairly good idea of what I need to do. Once I get all my planning out of the way, I'll tackle the circuitry side of things. I'd like to end up with a control panel that has a rheostat for the fans (that's gonna take some doing, as I think they are binary...), and individual switches for the fluorescent light, a temperature controlled incandescent light for heat, a compressor switch, and possibly an emergency kill-button.
Feel free to ask questions, to heckle me and each other, and to provide any suggestions that you can come up with.
Cheers,
Alex
