Shipping from Japan hasn’t stopped. But Tamiya USA is in CA, and they can be considered a non essential business. So during the statewide shelter in place there, a slowdown of importation and distribution thru them can be expected. Once onhand stock run out at your current supplier, it likely will take longer for a restock.

Not aware of a shortage but I'm sure if shipping hasn't been stopped it will. I'm just gonna ride the idiocy out with my current stash and supplies. Good luck.

Shortage of Tamiya products
Posted by Niko on Sunday, March 22, 2020 1:49 AM

Hello,

With the Pandemic that has stuck, I worry not only about toilet paper but the cement and paint that runs my hobby.

Does anybody know if Tamiya is shutting down their production of essentials such as cement and paint? Is it reasonable to bulk purchase?

Thank you.
