pe tool

I've got a set of long, narrow, needle pointed tweezers that lock that do a good job for me.  Took some time to get used to using the lock feature, but the number of dropped items has declined significantly since I began using them.  I've had them long enough I don't remember where I got them, but I believe Micro-Mark carries them in their catalog.

If youu can afford it pick up an ecth mate or if you can really afford it buy a frnder bender ive herd great things about both products but unfortunatly all i bought was a cheap plastic pe bender and regret it.

I guess what i am after is an alternative for picking up ultra small pe items and fixing to other peices as the tweezers are a little awkward to use for this

Hey DT.... you reminded me of something I use all the time for tiny PE and plastic parts.  I added it to the tips sections on my site, about 1/4 down on the page.

I would like to submit the following, bearing in mind that I use it on 1/700 ship models:

The lowly, wooden toothpick! With the tip cut off one end, and moistened with your tongue, it can be used to pick up, and place, small PE items. Just put a dot of CA or white glue where you want the item to go, wet the toothpick, pick up the PE, and place. What I like most about this is that the toothpick is small enough to get just about anywhere without knocking other parts off.
