Another Harbor Freight Heads Up...

Yesterday I finally opened my fluorescent magnifier extension lamp. It was wrapped in bubble plastic.

As I extended the lamp arms while checking it out, the tri-corner locking knob popped off. I found the knob easily enough, but the nut that fits inside it!!!!!

I searched for an hour, but it was lost in the depths of my basement. Since I bought one of these for a friend at the same time, I called him to warn him.....and guess what!? The same thing happened to him, though he found his right away. (I found a replacement nut on a piece of junk I had laying about)

The problem seems to be the length of the screw.....the nut can only grab a couple threads.........so beware!

 The lamp otherwise seems to be very good.....especially at the price ($19.99)
