The Aerodrome
Posted by Shaun34 on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 4:59 PM

Hello everybody,

I've been getting into the WWI era and being an airplane guy from way back, i have been learning about the

planes and the roots of aviation for a while now. I went looking for sites today covering the planes of the great war, and I found this one to start with. Its http://www.theaerodrome.com/index.php. They have sections on aces, the planes, a book shop section, a section on the medals won during the war, and they also have a forum. You'll have to excuse me, I don't remember if i've ever posted a link before on the forum here. So if I have messed up this time, I do apologize. I'll try to do better next time. I hope you all find this useful.

Thanks,

Shaun

Hey Shaun, just saw this post - FYI another very useful WW1 site that has tons of info and a forum is:

www.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.html

Click on the "Forum" button to see a bunch of posts.  Enjoy and welcome to the insanity of WW1 models!  They're addicting...
