I'm in search of more information on a 1973 model of the P1a Pershing Missile with the XM790 Erector Launcher, XM757 Prime Mover, and the missile itself, assembled on a wooden base with a metal plate that reads "U.S. Army Pershing 1/32 scale Martin Marietta". I believe it came assembled, as the inside of the brown cardboard (velveeta cheese style) box is stamped as follows (not the decorated box that the unassembled kit came in):
PPP-F-320, C LASS (DOM) GRADE (350)
DATE MANUFACTURED 3-73
Included in the box was a typed letter from Martin Marietta Aerospace, with the address
Orlando Division
Post office box 5837
Orlando, Fl 32805
It contained "Operating instructions 1/32nd scale Pershing Model Martin Marietta Aerospace Corporation".
I've had no luck researching it online. I'm completely new to this site, or I'd upload photos. I'd be more than willing to email them to anyone willing to help me find more information.
