About ready to go in trashcan! It is amazing how a photograph can cover up so many sins.  That kit was junk but I decided I would not trash it before I finished it. Got obstinate.

Last photo of the year?

We got a break in the weather today, and we got some sun.  Since I like to do model photography outside in direct sunlight, and winter is coming, this may be the last time this year I'll get to photograph models outside with my photo backdrops.

The model isn't that great (in fact, it was probably about the second worst kit I've attempted, but at least I finished it. It is 1:72 scale, a Douglas O-46 between-the-war observation plane.
