I keep several types of glue at my workbench. My go-to is the thick (gel) CA. I like it because it has a longer working time than regular thin CA, and allows gaps so I do not need to ensure surfaces meet perfectly before gluing. I keep epoxy on hand for areas where I need a really strong bond, and areas around canopies and windows. CA fogs clear plastic.
Lately I have tried that laser hardening glue for transparent areas and like it. It does not fog, is stronger than white glue or proprietary canopy glues, and is easier and quicker to use than epoxy.
I use white glue sometimes for small PE.
