The Spare Time Shop in Marlborough MA,  is a phenomenal old time hobby shop for models. Maybe one of the best in the US.  He has shortened hours now, but it less than an hour from Cambridge. The place is legendary. Although like most brick and mortar,  prices are full retail.

But he has everything.

I did a web search on "cambridge massachusetts hobby shops" and this page was among the results:

https://hub.biz/Cambridge-MA/Hobby-Model-Shops

I can recommend one of the shops in those results, Hobby Bunker, in Malden.  I know the owner, Matt Murphy.  He hosts wargame events there, and also stages two toy soldier shows, one local, and the other on the West Coast (the "West Coaster").  Matt carries a good range of supplies.

His website is here:  https://www.hobbybunker.com/

Are there any "pro-level" hobby shops in the Cambridge area? Im no pro...yet, but im looking for a brick and mortar type store. Not hobby lobby, Michaels etc. A good old fashioned mom and popper would be ideal. Im from CT but go there frequently. Thanks for any suggestions.
